Freedom Festival 2007

Freedom Festival was more than a simple trance party. It was a big gathering of the trance family with alot of variety and activities.
With a great trance line up, it also had cultural and tribal music, movies and documentaries, workshops, kids area, and more.
It was a five day festival with people from all over the world. The spirit was great and it was the perfect place to be.
There is no comparison to freedom 2005, this year was better in every way you can think of... great psichadelic decoration, much more variety and activites, and alot of beautifull people.
Unfortunatelly the news media only spoke bad things about the event, talking about drug arests and other accidents. But for the people who were there all I can say is that it was really great.
Congratiulations Cristal Matrix for the evolution of this big event. They made it bigger and better.
With the growing of this event now Portugal has big trance festivals every year, alternating between Boom and Freedom and making this little country the best in the world for trance parties :)

Sinergia - 27 a 30 Jul 2007

Sinergia was more than a trance party... it was a big gathering with all the psichadelic family united in paradise for a few days.
The place was the same used for Utopia, the after Boom06 party, its a place deep in the forest "serra da estrela", along the river side with a little beach, parks and camping area.
The line up was good but most of all it was the ambience and the cheer number of beautiful people that made it so special and a great place to be.
Quest4goa did again and gave us another great event, with an extra day of music to compensate the 8years of trance party that had to be canceled due to bad weather.

Goagil - 30 Jun 2007

Goagil came back to Portugal for another great trance party. Once again the master taught us what the spirit of trance is all about and played solo from the beginning to the end, playing about 22 hours straight...
Brought to us by Quest4goa and Omium nothing was forgotten or left behind in this great event. The decoration was mostly made of bamboo and in perfect harmony with nature. The spot was very beautiful near the river with lots of trees and shadows. There was no chill out area but instead there was a resting area near the water where we could relax and enjoy the beauty of the place.
Lots of nice and beautiful people came from all over to enjoy this full moon party in that magic place. Unfortunately the weather didn't want to collaborate and we couldn't see the full-moon because of the clouds. But we could definitely feel it's magic energy and power. During the day it turned out to be even better because without the clouds it would be too hot to dance under the sun...
For me this was a party to remember, I can´t hardly wait for Synergia, a 3 day event by Ques4goa in the end of July.

Genetic Dreams - 9 jun 2007

Another weekend and another party... it's easy to tell summer is coming and with it great open air parties. This time Genetic Dreams brought us Space Budha and many other known names. There were alot of people and together with the simpathy of the organizers this party was the right place to be. It was in a diferent place in Almeirim, with more trees and shadows. It had nice decoration and most of the trance tribe were there.
Good party... too bad the next is in the fall. But not to worry, this is going to be a great summer full of activities and parties :)

Astrologic Birthday Party - 2 jun 2007

Astrologic has been giving us trance parties for a while now... in this birthday party it presented us with some great names of trance like D-maniac and others. the spot was ok and the decoration simple but nice. There were a few nice people from "the tribe" and overall I think it was a small but good party.
Happy birthday Astrologic... and keep up the good work and spirit.
